The Masque of the Red Death is a short story written by Edgar Allan Poe. The illustration was created from a passage from the tale for the Folio Society contest.: "There was a sharp cry (...) instantly afterwards, fell prostrate in death the Prince Prospero." The illustration unfortunately didn't win but the result yielded a quite decent book cover. 12,2 x 8,08 inches (30x 20,5 cm). Original Art is UNAVAILABLE. Available for licensing and Fine Art Prints.
